Hey. I'm Mariah, Owner and Lead Planner of Bay & Barn. Nine years ago, I was 18, five months pregnant, working part-time while planning a wedding in just three months. I didn't have a planner. To be honest, I didn't even know wedding planners existed. No one in my family had gotten married in over 20 years. I was overwhelmed, had no resources, and was just trying to make it happen before the baby bump started showing up in the photos. 

It wasn't joyful.

It was survival.

Years later, when I helped a friend plan her wedding, something clicked. I fell in love with the process, the details, the organization, the beauty of it all coming together. But more than that, I realized how deeply I understood what so many couples go through: the stress, the decision-making struggle, the pressure to get everything perfect - with little and even less experience. 

That's why I started Bay & Barn.

For the first-time brides.

For the overwhelmed couples.

For the ones juggling everything at once - careers, kids, life - all while planning the biggest day of their lives.

Every wedding I plan is personal, because I've been there.

I know what it feels like to carry the weight of it all.

And I've built Bay & Barn to be the calm in that chaos.

I bring heart, strategy, and lived experience to every client.
